A variety of hotels ranging in price are available for Interspeech 2024 participants who are booking through the online registration system, which is accessible from this website. All hotels are located within the Island of Kos in close proximity to the conference venues Other attractions in the city center such as restaurants, shopping, beaches etc. are within easy reach by car, bus or bicycle.
Hotels that have been secured for the conference are listed above. It is recommended that accommodation is booked early for the meeting in order to secure your required housing arrangements.

All rates specified are per room, per night, on Bed and Breakfast basis.
All rates are VAT and tax (Environmental fee) included. You will not be charged an Environmental fee during the check-in and check-out.
Check in time is 15.00 and check out 11.00, most hotels offer the guests the option of storing their luggage before checking in or after checking out.

Sharing a Room
If you wish to share rooms we kindly ask you to follow the instructions below:
Please note, all participants sharing a room should follow these instructions in order for the booking & payment to be processed correctly. In the booking form, please:
- Fill out the room type – Standard Room.
- Then – Please select – “Single bed in a shared room for 2” or “Single bed in a shared room for 3”.
- Write the name/s of the participant/s you wish to share with in the textbox.
- Each one of the participants should register to a room, even if they are sharing it in order to split the payment accordingly.
Important note: In case of roommate cancellation, it is the responsibility of the participant with the valid reservation to find a replacement. Otherwise, the remaining participant will be charged the difference.

For attendees looking to find a hotel roommate, we have opened a designated LinkedIn group to help connect with potential roommates. This group allows you to post your request or browse through existing posts to find someone with similar accommodation preferences.
How it works?
Post your request: Share a bit about yourself, your dates of stay, and any preferences you have for a roommate.
Browse and Respond: Look through posts by other attendees. If you find a potential match, respond directly to coordinate further.
Book Together: Once you’ve found your roommate, you can proceed to book your accommodation through the official Interspeech 2024 registration system.

Terms of Payment
Payments will be refunded according to the cancellation policy.
If paying by bank transfer or bank cheque, the entire amount is to be sent in full.

To facilitate processing, participants must clearly indicate in all remittances their name and reservation/registration number.

Accommodation Cancellation Insurance
For an additional fee of € 75 per registrant, you can choose an enhanced cancellation/refund option. This allows you to cancel your accommodation for any reason up to 12 noon Israel time (GMT+2) on August 12, 2024, and receive a full refund for your accommodation payments. If you select this option, the € 75 fee is non-refundable and must be paid within 7 days from the date of reservation and no later than August 24, 2024.
Please note that under this enhanced cancellation/refund option, you must provide written notification of cancellation to Ortra Ltd at interspeech2024@ortra.com by 12 noon Israel time (GMT+2) on August 24, 2024, to be eligible for the refund.
Tick this option, and the € 75 fee will be added to your total charges. This offer is available only when booked with your accommodation.
Accommodation Cancellation Policy
Refund of payments made towards accommodation will be refunded if written notification reaches the Conference Secretariat, Ortra Ltd. at interspeech2024@ortra.com as follows.
The cancellation fee applies in the event of a full or partial cancellation of a hotel reservation and will be charged accordingly.
Cancellation received within 14 days from the date of registration (unless registration was made during 7 days prior to the conference) – Full refund.
If cancellation is received 15 days or more from the date of registration refund will be made as follows:
– Until July 15, 2024 – full refund with deduction of 50€ handling fee.
– From July 16 – August 5, 2024 – 50% refund.
– From August 5, 2024 – No refund.

The conference takes place during peak season on the island of Kos. As the organizers, we reserve the right to modify room reservations in the event of overbooking. In such cases, participants may be transferred to an alternative hotel of the same or higher standard than the original reservation.
